CHURCH SERVICE WAS AMAZING & INFORMATIVE AT VICTORY WORLD CHURCH

Today was my first time attending this church. I decided to attend the 12:30 p.m. service which was a perfect choice. I was more attentive and eager to hear the word of God. I must say that it was a different experience for me. The church is no denomination and the senior pastor is Caucasian. I really didn't know what to expect because usually I attend New Birth where Bishop Eddie Long is Senior Pastor. Well let's just say that New Birth is always rocking in the holly word! The majority of the congregation is African Americans. I went with a positive mind set and it turns out that I have found another church to add to my list. It's a great church that is made up of all nationalities. I really enjoyed the service and gained more knowledge about the bible and living God's way. I found it funny a quite amusing that the service was about LOVE. Yesterday I posted the poem of the week that is title LOVE.

I'm going to inform you on what the service pertaining to LOVE was all about that touch me!

Bible Scriptures about Love

  • 1 Corinthians 3:9-15
  • 1 John 4:7-8 NIV (My Favorite)
    • Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
  • John 13: 34-35 NIV
  • Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJ
  • 1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJ (My Favorite)
    • Three things will last forever- faith, hope and love- and the greatest of these is love.

4 Dimensions of LOVE
  1. Loving the Hurting.
  2. Loving people of different culture.
  3. Loving the lost.
  4. Loving the enemies.
3 Kinds of People
  1. Theif~ What's yours is mine and I'm going to take it.
  2. Religious~ What's mine is mine and I'm going to keep it.
  3. Compassionate~ What's mine is yours and I'm going to give it. (This should be the world)
Notes:
  • Doesn't matter what race a person is a long as they have a heart for Jesus.
  • Most Christians live by there feelings which overcomes them to do what God wants them to do. Instead of blessing your enemies and praying for them. Feelings take over and we do what is felt at the moment which is retaliation. Instead of putting feelings aside a let God deal with it. Someone has to be the bigger person and has to be on God's team.
  • Marry someone that has a heart for Jesus. AMEN TO THAT!!
SOMETHING TO REMEMBER:
How you leave a relationship (something) determines how you enter a new relationship (whatever you're confronted with).
You have to do the right thing in order to be blessed! I know that I'm talking to someone who's reading this.

Signing out saying- MY FIRST LOVE IS JESUS. I WOULDN'T BE HERE IF IT WASN'T FOR HIS LOVE.
